Brian E. Prell, PT, MS, CHCP, HSP
Clinic Owner, Physical Therapist
Brian isn’t passionate about physical therapy. He’s passionate about the way we do physical therapy at Prell Integrative Physical Therapy. Brian believes his job is to be a diagnostician, and he desires to walk with each patient on their health journey, sorting through the secondary issues to find the primary cause, thus moving patients from where they are to where they ought to be.
Brian graduated with his Master of Physical Therapy from the University of North Georgia, Dahlonega in May 2002. He received additional education through the University of Wisconsin in Vestibular Rehabilitation, after which Brian developed a continuing education course for physical therapists entitled, “Treatment of Vestibular and Non-Vestibular Balance Disorders,” which he taught throughout the Southeastern United States. Brian has also taken advanced coursework in manual therapy, utilizing the Maitland Australian Physiotherapy technique. He has spent the past 20 years developing the foundation of Neuro-Muscular Kinematic Modulation (NMKM).
Brian also brings over 20 years of specialized experience in Vestibular Rehabilitation to Prell Integrative Physical Therapy. Throughout his career, Brian has been dedicated to helping patients overcome dizziness, vertigo, and balance disorders, providing personalized treatment plans that yield lasting results. His extensive expertise led him to create a comprehensive continuing education course, “Treatment for Vertigo and Non-vertigo Related Balance Issues,” which he has taught to fellow therapists across the Southeastern United States. This course reflects his commitment to advancing the field of Vestibular Rehabilitation and sharing his knowledge with other professionals, ensuring that more patients receive the quality care they need to regain their balance and improve their quality of life.
“Insurance has increased their premiums, decreased reimbursements, increased their control over care, and forced healthcare practitioners to see a higher volume of patients, thereby, decreasing quality of care. I could complain or I could do something about it. You’re not a protocol. You’re a person with an issue you can’t fix. Additionally, I may be your last option before surgery. You don’t need someone giving you exercises you can find on Google. You shouldn’t be doing exercises in therapy that you’re already doing at home. You don’t need nor should you expect average. You need someone to do a “deep dive” into your health and find the primary cause of YOUR problem. You then need a plan of care specific to YOUR issue. We’re different….on purpose!”
